About the site

The choice of naming this site “workshop” originated from the need of a virtual place where is possible to forge the tools that make possible to deliver a project within its natural constraints, whose relationships are set by the "Iron Triangle".
  1. Costs
  2. Time
  3. Scope & quality
Like any triangle it has to meet some requirements. This is the fundamental one: the Pythagorean Theorem. This means that the relationships among its sides cannot be set arbitrarily. In other words, the reality sets some rules that cannot be overcome from fads or overly aggressive targets.

The area set by this triangle is filled with these three elements in a 2:1 relationship:

People

Processes

Technologies

People

First rule, requires considering a balanced approach to the professional side. Values like respect, encouragement and comradeship need to correspond to professionalism, skills and commitment.

Processes

are meaningful only if they are synchronized into governance. The risk of a bureaucratic approach must be avoided with the sensible use of
technology.

I would like to describe myself through two images.

Roman Aqueduct in Provence The picture on the right shows the elegance of ingenuity. Something that goes beyond time and cultures. The picture on the left represent the power of engineering. Building bridges requires good project's craftmanship and a bunch of committed people working together. This is the best part of myself. The love for the hard work aimed to building elegant structures. My energy is ever available for creating bridges among people.
